Who takes the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification?
The Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification is a specialist qualification for wealth managers, IFAs, private client managers, discretionary portfolio managers and private bankers. It is suitable for staff working in wealth management who wish to demonstrate their competence in devising investment portfolios that meet clients' needs.
Why enrol on the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification?
The Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification is a highly regard qualification and is developed in consultation with leading stockbrokers, investment banks and industry trade bodies, including the Wealth Management Association (WMA). This special qualification offers candidates in-depth knowledge on investment issues. This qualification is also a client-focused practical qualification with around 40% of the study time allocated to working with client case scenarios. It quips advisers with a qualification which will help build client confidence and trust.
What's on the syllabus?
The qualification consists of three papers:
- Financial Markets
- Portfolio Construction Theory
- Applied Wealth Management
Please note – if you are studying in the UK, you will need to register and purchase the exam and CISI manual directly with the examining body. Fitch Learning is only able to provide material to corporate clients for whom a fully-managed exam administration service is provided.
How much work is required?
CISI recommend that you do around 200 hours of study for each of the three modules.
